Brotherly love

We got to the zoo and went right to the elephants. Just as we got there the zoo attendant started the "Elephant talk". Bubba couldn't see. He said to Bud "Jakey I can't see." Bud bent down and said "Get on." I was watching all this from behind. I almost cried. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for my boys. I also thank him for blessing me with ONLY 2 boys and not 3.

Random pictures

Here are some random pictures of the kids. Let's face it this is really what everyone wants to see anyways. We went to the zoo with my sister and her family when they were here the 2nd week of August. We also went to the park. These are a few of the pictures.

Bug riding on daddy's shoulders...because the stroller isn't good enough for our little princess.

Bud MASSIVILY cheesing it. He better not get too tired of the camera yet. He's only 8.

Bud and Bubba dressing up at the zoo/aquarium. The boys liked it, Bug DID NOT.

We also have at least one kid cheesing it for the camera.

Boo-boos

Bug had to get her blood taken and so did Daddy so they went together. Look how cute her bandages are. They match her outfit.

Here she is showing off her bandages.
Bubba got a black eye from his brother. They were playing frisbee and Bud hit him in the eye. (On accident of course)

Here is Bud after getting stung by 2 bees on his neck.

So things do come in threes so hopefully we're done for awhile.

Behind....

I know, I know, I know.....

I am behind on my blogging. We did just get a new computer so I'm testing the waters with it first. I enjoy reading everyone else's blogs that I forget about my own.

My sister also puts me to shame with her consistent blogging. I'll get there some day. So look for a few blog entries this week. Hopefully I will finally get caught up.

What we've been working on....

So, I know I haven't posted in awhile but this is what we've been working on....

Bug has mastered the art of cruising along furniture. It will only be a short time until she's walking all by herself.

Bug is a big talker. (I know BIG surprise) She can tell her brothers off or any one for that manner in a matter of seconds.

Bubba has mastered POTTY TRAINING!!!! He's 3 so we still have to watch for accidents but he's in undies at night so that's MASSIVE progress.

Bubba loves to play with his cousins. We visited with Jody's family the last week of July and he got to play with his cousins almost every day.

Bud is getting ready for school to start. We are homeschooling again this year and his mean teacher is making him start Aug. 17th. She has her reasons but Bud doesn't really like it just yet. Come on kid you only have school 4 hours a day. :)

Bud had fun at Cub scout camp. He went to scout camp from Tuesday to Friday. It was pretty hot but he had fun with the other boys.

Kim has caught the scrapbooking bug again. When we went to Oregon, my sister and I went scrapbooking at a local scrapbook store and I realized how much I really enjoyed it. I have finished 12 pages in the last 2 weeks. I do have to cut the titles and journal the pages so I'm not completely finished. I love my Cricut.

Jody is continuing with chemo. We found out last week that they (the Airforce) is not going to start his medical board just yet. They want him to be even further along with him treatment before they start it. So, they will continue to discuss him in their monthly meetings and we will just go from there. We are very grateful that we were in the Airforce when he developed cancer. I know that sounds werid but we have been taken care of in regards to his medical treatment and just our basic living situtation.

We do have some more pictures and videos to share but I have a nasty diaper to change so until later....
