New hair do

So, I had been growing my hair for about 2 years and was getting tired of it. So, I deceided to cut it. I don't play around when I cut my hair either. Here's the before and after.

I'm not a fan of the sweep of the bangs so I've been doing it a little different since I got it cut. :) I do really love it and it's actually easier than when I had long hair.

Photo shoot with Hailey

I've deceided that it's a BLAST to have a baby girl. I get to dress her up and have photo shoots. She's just beautiful (have I said that before?). Here are some adorable pics of her lately. She's in her Classic pooh dress from Aunt Heidi.

This one is my favorite!!!!

She was done with the photo shoot.

Hailey's blessing Part 1

We took the liberty of using the family in town to have Hailey blessed on Sunday.

Grandparents and the kids
This would of been a cute pic if Jake didn't stick out his tongue.
Beautiful!!!!

Jacob's baptism

In our church, once a child reaches the age of 8 they are baptized. Jacob was baptized Sept. 21st. Grandma Susie and Grandpa Gary and Uncle Robin and Aunt Alena came to celebrate this wonderful time. We also had many of our friends here come celebrate this time with Jacob.

Our cub scout

With Jacob turning 8, he gets to attend cub scouts which he is soooo proud about. It's also a great time for him to socialize with other kids. Look at him in his uniform. Again, isn't he soooo cute?!?!?

Turning 8

Jacob turned 8 on September 14th. I just can't believe my baby is 8!!!! Aunt Stephanie came to visit for a couple of days and made Jacob's birthday cake. Noah just loves his Aunt "Steppie" even though he's starting to actually call her Stephanie which is said since Aunt "Steppie" is really cute.
Isn't he such a cutie?!?!

Here is our beautiful flower!!!! I just love this dress and the flower headband that matches.

Come on isn't she gorgoeus?

Ft. Lewis Musuem

My grandparents (Grandma and Grandpa Ankeny) came to visit and we went to the Ft. Lewis Musuem on Fort Lewis. Grandpa Ankeny was sworn into the army at Ft. Lewis so it was very interesting to she the museum through his eyes. The boys found some cute photo opportunities.

So, this is a bomb but Noah starting climbing it and said "Mommy, look at the crayon."

We had fun with our grandparents and were very happy they came to visit. Thanks

Wirfs happenings

So, I've been meaning to update our blog more often and that's my new resolution. I will update our blog at least twice a week, so here what's going on with our family.....

Jody went into his oncologist a couple of weeks ago to find the results of his full body scan (which he had Sept. 16th). She actually gave us some bad news which changes how his treatment plans. It looks like the cancer spots in his lung are shrinking or staying the same size. The cancer has spread into more of his bones. It has spread to another verterbrane as well as into his pelvic bones. So after talks with the doctor our course of treatment is more chemo. She had orginally recommended that he just have a pill form of chemo but the body scan changed that course. He has chemo now once every 3 weeks. Hopefully, this will help us see improvments. We did ask the doc how long this treament will last and basically her answer was until we see improvements.

so that's an update on Jody's treatments. I will continue with the updates when we have them. I will also be adding more pics soon so stay tuned.
