Update, update, update

I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to update our blog.  Probably has something to do with I just haven't wanted to.  Ha ha.  Our life has been kinda crazy this summer and even before then too.

Jody got really sick in March/April time.  He lost about 40 pounds in a month and 1/2.  He looked awful and felt worse.  They took him off the chemo that was making him sick and his blood platelets were really low.  He ended up having a blood transfusion which helped him feel so much better.  He has gained back 15 or so pounds.  He looks and feels so much better.

I am working on home school for the kids.  I'm also trying to get her craft blog up and running.  There is a lot of different things that goes into having a blog.  I'm not really great with technology but I'm trying.  I've been taking some craft classes online at Big Picture Classes.  You can read more about it at wonderfulworldofcrafts.blogspot.com

Bud is going into the sixth grade.  He is still home schooled but we are going through a virtual school through the Newberg school district.  They have weekly group learning times and study halls.  So far it's been good except the part that his curriculum is not here yet.  We are hoping to start Monday the 10th.

Budda is going into Kindergarten (again).  He is also going through the virtual school.  We have started his math lessons (his stuff got here already).  He is liking it so far.  Hopefully he continues to like it.  Reading lessons start Monday. Help me!!!

Bug is going to attend a local preschool 3 days a week.  It will be really good for her to get some instruction from someone other than me or daddy.  Hopefully she does well there. My friend is the teacher so I'm sure she will let me know if there are any problems.

So there is a little update to our family.  I know, I know not a lot of every body but again I'm hoping to keep up with the blog.  I have more blog posts in my head.  I just wish there was a direct link from my brain to blogger.  Wouldn't that be a sight?
